This week as part of our celebration we are re-posting the information and encouragement of Rita Irwin. Let’s all work together to make this year one to remember!

Dear Colleagues
It’s May and in a few weeks we will be celebrating the 2nd International Arts Education Week!!  Please share what’s happening in arts education in your communities and your countries by writing to me at insea.president@gmail.com and I will share your stories with our membership.
I would also appreciate it very much if you could post your activities on the InSEA facebook site, the WAAE facebook site and our InSEA advocacy blog on our website.
So here is a great example:
Marlen Thiermann reports that in Chile, the Council for Culture and Art together with the national UNESCO office and the Education Ministry, have organized a number of events to celebrate the International Art Education Week. Prof. Ana Mae Barbosa [Brazil] will be participating in 2 occasions.
While the events are a week earlier than the UNESCO Week May 20-26, it still shows how Chile is celebrating arts education.
I look forward to hearing about more of our advocacy efforts!
Through art,
Rita

  1. Hi there! Do you know if they make any plugins to help with Search Engine Optimization?

I’m trying to get my blog to rank for some targeted keywords but I’m not
seeing very good gains. If you know of any please share.

    Thanks!
